Karise Eden: Winner of The Voice Australia

I don't know about you, but I though Karise Eden was a well deserving winner. The competition called 'The Voice' got it right by rewarding the contestant with the best, most unique voice (go figure!) But, something else about this little bombshell has caught my eye... Karise with her sassy style looks fabulous wearing the jewellery in this photo...

This look can be achieved when wearing one large statement necklace
like this one by Melanie-Joy Creations (a label that we stock)

OR  by layering several necklaces of different lengths and textures.

Karise with her gusto and personality can pull off this look with ease. Notice in both photos:

1) each girl is wearing a plain top
2) small earrings
3) and hair pulled up

which ensures that all the focus is on the neck and face.

Style Inspiration: Audrey Hepburn

Audrey, what can we say?... you always appear to be so stylish and classic in photographs and films. You are the one we look to for effortless chic. This weekend, if you are attending a Queen's Jubilee Party, perhaps take inspiration from the always lady-like Audrey Hepburn.

Vintage Revival: 70's & 80's

'Vintage Fashion' has been going strong for close to 10 years. It seems we've been looking to times of fun and frivolity for relief. Countries round the world feel uncertain about their government and economy, we are feeling stress on a daily basis with costs rising... the world is a changin' it's true!

So let's escape into these feel-good-fashions of yesteryear...

Over the last few days, I've been wearing these little beauties to 'get the look for less'
Pearl and Rhinestone Earrings & Gold Tone Earrings with Diamantes.

Next time I'll try and remember to take a pic for you!... which reminds me, I recently styled a photo shoot for Melanie-Joy Creations jewellery, and will share those picts when they are available.

The Renaissance of Pandora Style Beads

I've recently been sourcing and updating my stock of Pandora Style Beads, and started to wonder just why it is they are so popular. This is what I came up with:

1) They are extremely collectable - available in a wide variety of colours and shapes. It seems there is something that appeals to just about everyone.

2) They are becoming increasingly affordable - if you're in the market for the real thing, the average Pandora Bead will set you back about $50. However, there is such a wide range and variety of Pandora Style Beads out there (at all price points), now anyone can afford to wear this style of jewellery.

3) You can customise your look - it's easy to mix and match your beads to 'style' your own bracelet. Certain elements are easily adjustable - like the removable Clip Locks (designed to divide your bracelet into sections).

What do you think? Have you got any more suggestions?
Why do you think Pandora Style Beads are so popular?

Andre Pejic for Tom Binns Jewellery

Absolutely love anything by Tom Binns. He's got the magic formula. I think it's his combination of Vintage with New. He has just the right balance. How amazing is this photo of Andre Pejic? I promise I will start to source content from places other than facebook! I just came across so many fabulous images when I was setting up my new facebook page.

Come like me on facebook: facebook.com/jewellery4sale.com.au I'm brand new and need some friends to talk to who love beads and jewellery as much as I do!

Eric Daman for Swarovski

I came across this photo on facebook the other day, and felt inspired to see that the lose, hand-made vibe is still alive and well. This reminds me a bit of Melanie-Joy Creations work (which I have just started to stock at my online store).

I love that these pieces are blingy and earthy at the same time.
